Our team is hand picked based on their unique experiences with applied Behavior Analysis, clinical experience, education, and research experience. ABASI provides supervision for students to sit for their board certification exam through the BACB and is currently in the application process to become a USF Practicum site for the Applied Behavior Analysis Masters Program. Research Intern
Research interns will have a unique opportunity to test either a novel ABA procedure in a sports environment, or conduct a systematic replication of a prior ABA research study. Research interns will be provided at least 10 hours a week of hours to ensure they meet the BACB requirements of appropriate supervision. Interns will be trained and supervised every step of the way by BCBAs with experience implementing these interventions in sports environments.
Consultant
Consultants will have a unique opportunity to work with athletic trainers to and athletes in the community implementing ABASI intervention procedures. Consultants will be provided at least 10 hours a week of hours to ensure they meet the BACB requirements of appropriate supervision. Consultants will be trained and supervised every step of the way by BCBAs with experience implementing these interventions in sports environments.
Trainer
The Trainer position assists with the training of ABASI interns and consultants on ABASI procedures, and how to consult and conduct research in the community.
Project Coordinator/Management
The Project Coordinator ensures that ABASI projects are organized and run in an efficient and enjoyable manner for both clients and consultants.
